View Through A Broken Mirror

Kit. Nineteen. Design student residing in Melbourne.

I don’t get it.

Why do you change who you are to impress someone else? Is this person so worth while that in order to please that one individual; you are so willing to completely change the habits you’ve kept until this point in your existence?

Wouldn’t the alternative be to find someone who embraces your personal individuality? Someone who only wants to be with you because you are different from the rest.
Old habits never die. Pretense is a tiring thing. And at the end of the day, the mask MUST come off.

My question is why hide that side of you when your beauty lies within the natural self?

Just the way you were born.

Just the way you are.
